Day 6

Today was, unexpectedly, a really nice day. I didn't want to spend it inside getting rid of stuff (and besides, the Night Auditor was sleeping), I wanted to be outside as much as possible.

So I took my gift certificate to the nursery (thank you, Night Auditor!) and with the help of the 4-Her, bought several plants for the front yard and some seeds for front and back.

And in order to plant them, I had to pull up all the clover filling up the front yard. Brought two of the chickens out, hoping they'd help get rid of the weeds (they cowered under the bushes against the porch...no help at all. Didn't even take any of the grubs I dug up)

So today's tossed stuff: a whole lot of weedy clover and some nasty prickly spreading weeds.
